Almost 400 cannabis plants with a street value of $500,000 to $1 million were seized by detectives after police raided a Drouin property last week.

Detectives assigned to the case said the house in Manallack Lane was operating as a commercial hydroponic grow house.

Police believe the grow house had been operating for some time, generating three or four harvests.

Baw Baw CIU detectives and Warragul Police executed a drug warrant at the house at 10.15am last Tuesday.

Police seized 380 cannabis plants at various stages of development that were growing in a hydroponic set-up.

At this stage, no one has been charged because the premises was left unattended during the series of police raids.

Further investigations are currently underway.
